My personal highlight: The beat goes on

The special exhibition “The beat goes on” in the World Museum Liverpool turned out to be very informative. Although I knew that musical Liverpool is/was more than The Beatles, I was really surprised to get to know how many famous (and not so famous) musicians had lived and worked in Liverpool (sometimes under incredible shabby circumstances), and influenced music styles all over the world. The rare exhibits, such as old guitars, amplifiers, fashion clothes, the first synthesizers and an old recording tape-machine, were particularly fascinating.

And it seems as if the Liverpudlian beat will go on, simply because the spirit of the Fab Four is everlasting!
